Les Mills Body Vive

In addition to my beloved Zumba fitness classes, I've started teaching Body Vive classes too. I'm still in the "training" stage, but will complete my team-teaching obligations very soon. In the mean time, I will be team-teaching and sharing the stage with another Body Vive instructor. You can find me at Gold's Gym on Tuesday mornings at 10:20am.

Zumba Fitness

In April of 2009, I discovered Zumba fitness at the local YMCA. What the heck??? How can this be exercise? I had so much fun that I stuck with it. In fact, I went to every class I possibly could. I talked about Zumba with my friends and finally convinced a few to try it. Funny thing is, once they tried it, they too were hooked. I think my most proud moment was hearing my mother talk about how much she enjoys her Zumba Gold class in Michigan.

I am now looking to start teaching my own Zumba fitness classes. I have some terrific friends who have let me practice my routines on them, and they were all very encouraging. As I add classes to my schedule, I'll post them on this blog.
